Lost/Stolen/Damaged

If you apply for a CitizenCard and we issue you with a card it remains our legal property. You have the right, as the lawful cardholder, to use the card for the purpose of proving age, identity (and if a Visa Prepaid CitizenCard , for use as a prepaid card).
You must at all times keep the card safe and minimise the possibility of it being lost, stolen or damaged. If your card is mislaid you should endeavour to find it - if it's a Visa Prepaid CitizenCard you should immediately go to myprepaid.citizencard.com and Block the card so that any funds are frozen until you Unblock the card.
If your Classic CitizenCard is lost, stolen or damaged, then you can obtain a Replacement Card here
A Standard Classic CitizenCard Replacement application costs £9 (card issued within 21 days).
An Urgent Classic CitizenCard Replacement application costs £24 (card issued within 1-2 working days).
The Replacement process begins once your completed application is received at our office.

If your Visa Prepaid CitizenCard is lost, stolen or damaged, you can call Visa Prepaid CitizenCard Customer Services on 0207 081 0731 or log on to myprepaid.citizencard.com to obtain a Replacement Card at a cost of £15 (card issued within 21 days).
If your name has changed since your previous card was issued or if your card has expired since your previous card was issued you should apply for a Renewal here
